To commemorate the 85th birth anniversary of Shri Abdul Kalam the Sarvotava Bhavanam Library inaugurated a special library for children on October 15th 2016. SarvotavaBhavanam had always had books for children, but the need for an exclusive space for children was felt. This resulted in the creation of a brightly coloured room with attractive furniture and pictures to attract the young readers. This Children’s library is not just a silent place with neatly arranged racks of books, but a lively place full of fun and laughter. Story-telling, poetry reading and craft classes are a part of this establishment. Every Sunday, different activities are conducted and the children are encouraged to tell stories and write poems.
